In the West African country of Guinea Bissau, the medical situation is precarious. The capital city, named Bissau, with a population of nearly 500,000 people, has only one national hospital.
The Church of the Nazarene in Guinea-Bissau is bringing light to a local village, in more ways than one. In May, the church’s Project of Light brought solar panels, electricity, and light to the Indena Grande village, located on the island of Canhabaque in Guinea-Bissau.
